Taraweeh prayers will be held during the holy month of Ramadan as usual at Shrewsbury Muslim centre.
We are blessed this year in that the recitation and prayers will be led by Hafiz Maulana Yasin, who has supported our community for many, many years, and also Guest Hufaz Maulana Junaid Ahmed from Bangladesh.
The prayers will begin directly after ‘Isha prayer, at 10:50pm for the first week of Ramadan and 11:00pm after that.
To support our environmentally green policy we will not be providing lots of plastic drinking bottles for water during Taraweeh prayers. Please bring (or take) one bottle, which you are welcome to refill from our water fountain. Reuse and recycle is our motto!
